Four of the surviving “Five Sisters” barques raced offshore yesterday and will lead tomorrow’s Sail250 Parade of Sail into Boston Harbor:  USCGC Eagle  Gorch Fock  Mircea Sagres

USCGC Eagle. She is one of only two active commissioned sailing vessels in the United States military today, along with USS Constitution.

• The German Navy’s tall ship Gorch Fock, and the Italian Navy training ship Amerigo Vespucci, sail through New York Harbor
• The Five Sisters Race is complete! Congratulations to the cadets and crew of USCGC Eagle.

This is Peter Ticktin taking a victory lab with Tina Peters. However, I did more to get her free than he did. I’m a little bitter here. Not all it was a not in that room, but no one even knows who the fuck I am. I suppose it was the ultimate altruistic move. It’s like anonymously giving a Christmas present. I’m not saying I had a whole lot to deal with it. However, none of the lawyers did. She was going to rot in jail. It was more due to the Governor of Colorado getting worried that the whole charade would blow up on them.

Independent journalist Desiree Townsend is reporting that 84-year-old Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell, who was mysteriously hospitalized last month after suffering an apparent episode of “cardiac arrest” and has not been publicly seen since at least June 14, is on life support and “brain dead,” though nothing has been officially confirmed by the family or office of the Kentucky Senator.-me- I was the first to say this a week ago. When I read the details that he had cardiac arrest, I knew within about two seconds that he was brain dead. People don’t survive from cardiac arrest often. The brain can’t become anoxic for more than a few seconds. I did transplant surgery, cardiac surgery, etc. That’s where these transplant donors come from. They’re usually CPR patients. It is why DNR was created. CPR creates brain dead patients.
